Kenneth "Apples" Alfred Paley

It is with heavy hearts the family of Kenneth “Apples” Paley announces his passing which occurred at his residence on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born in Saint John, NB on November 20, 1940 he was the son of the late William Alfred and Della May (Quigley) Paley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife Jeanetta Ella “Jean” Paley; brother Bill Paley and sister Jean Logan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Ken “Apples” worked as a truck driver for J.E. March Trucking for many years. He was an avid sports fan especially hockey, baseball and Horse Racing. His passion was stock car racing which he shared with his wife, family and many friends. He was inducted into the motor sports hall of fame in 2016. " #95 in your program, #1 in your heart." 

He is survived by his children Debbie (Travis), Pam (Paul), Shellie (John), Amy (David), Ronnie (Angela); cherished grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Sean, Marley, Jade-lynn, Emily “Little Red” and Johnny; mother-in-law Etta Bruce and extended Bruce family; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A celebration of life will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11 a.m.
