Kenneth Roy Hughes

With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth Roy Hughes which occurred at his residence on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. Born in St. Catherines, Ontario on April 19th, 1951, he was the son of the late Harry and Norma (Morningstar) Hughes.

Ken dedicated 37 years working as an Inspector with Thompson Products.
In his spare time, he truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Whether it was fishing, bowling, dancing, collecting coins or spending time in his garage, Ken just lived is life one day at a time.

He is survived by his loving wife June (Bowering), daughters Sherry (Mike) Soreson, Kim (Mike) Goff and Melissa (Kevin) Gennings. Also left to mourn are his brother Arthur (Marilyn), sister Cathleen and grandchildren; Dylan, Katelynn, Allissa, Kendra, Hanna, Ryan and Ethan as well as great grandson Braxton.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes, cremation will take place and no funeral service will be held at this time. Memorial donations towards the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
