Kenneth Joseph Craig

It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Kenneth Craig on May 26, 2022.  Born in Newcastle, England, Kenneth was a son of the late James and Lilly (O-Neill) Craig.  Kenneth will be greatly missed by his children:  Thomas (Hannah) of PEI, Laura (Brad) of Musquash, Jennifer (Jason) of Lorneville, and their mom Diana; his sisters:  Joan Wiley and Margaret Dodds, both of England; his nine grandchildren: Jacob, Travis, Cameron, Connor, Lindsay, Gavin, Drew, Lily, and Violet.  As well as by his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his siblings:  Kathleen, Anthony, James, and Thomas.  Kenneth was an engineer with the Merchant Navy from 1966-1974.  He moved here in 1974 when he decided to start his family, and he began working as an Industrial Mechanic and Machinist for Saint John Iron Works.  Kenneth was a Newcastle United Football fan, he could often be found sitting and yelling at the TV during a game.  He enjoyed working and tinkering in the yard, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grand kids.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John (506-646-2424).  Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 4 PM – 7 PM; the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Donations to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences are available at:  www.fundyfuneralhome.com
