Kelly Elizabeth (Johnson) Muir

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Kelly Elizabeth Muir, who left us October 23rd at the young age of 56. 

Kelly was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. She will be forever missed by her beloved sons, Eric Muir (Victoria) and Cory Muir (Keagan), and her cherished grandchildren Addie and Liam, who were truly the light of her life. Her weekends at the trailer with them, their sleep overs and long talks were some of her happiest times.

She will also be deeply missed by her loving father Don Johnson (Joanne) and her little brother, Trevor (Rob) Johnson, whom she shares a lifetime of funny stories with. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Raye Johnson. 

A proud member of the Air Canada family for 28 years, Kelly found joy in her work and built lifelong friendships with her coworkers, who adored her as much as she adored them. To her Air Canada family, thank you for the support, love and laughter you gave to her over the years. 

In her free time, she loved traveling and recently got to go on a dream trip to Italy. She loved cheering for her favourite teams, the Montreal Canadians and the Toronto Blue Jays, and spending time in the kitchen, making new recipes with Addie and building legos with Liam. She always had a craft for them to do together. 

Her strength, humour, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Her beautiful laugh is one none of us will ever forget. She was so proud of her boys and they will miss her tremendously forever. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  In keeping with Kelly’s wishes, no services will be held.  A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation in her honour.
