It is with heart break and sadness the family of Kaye Stevenson announce her passing which occurred at home on Friday January 11, 2019. Born in Fredericton February 8, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (White) Stevenson. Kaye worked for the province of New Brunswick in the Department of Finance, serving for 37 years, retiring in 2002. Devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Those who knew her will miss her forever. She was active in Harness Racing; enjoyed road trips and Bowled with co-workers. A proud grandmother her title was Nanny Kaye, she was her grandkids biggest and loudest cheerleader on the court and the field. She devoted herself to family because it was most important.
Kaye is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Bettina and Bob MacNeil; precious grandchildren Kate and Alex; brothers Bobby Stevenson (Dianna) of Delaware and Brian Stevenson (Chloe) of Zealand; nieces, nephews; special nieces Terri Guislain (Mark) and Sherri Elliott (Mark), many friends and race track and traveling friends. Along with her parents, Kaye was predeceased by sister Anne Thornton and brother-in-law Bob Thornton.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday, January 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Private family interment at a later date.
