Kathy Phinney

It is with great sadness the family of Mary Katherine Phinney announce her passing on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the age of 67.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her son Michael James Dempsey Keirstead, by her brothers Robert Phinney (Brenda) and Brian Phinney (Patti) and her sister Dianne Stephen (David).  She will also be dearly missed by many other extended family members and friends.  Kathy is predeceased by her parents Gertrude and Dempsey Phinney and her brother John Phinney.  

She will be remembered for her love of cooking and baking, how she like to read and truly enjoyed hosting gatherings at the house.  Kathy worked many jobs throughout her life including NBTEL, Homehardware West and Northern Reflections.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 1-3 PM.  For those that wish to make a memorial donation the family requests you do so to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
