It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kathryn Phyllis Walker announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Born in Saint John, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Edward and Phyllis (Baxter) Walker.
Kathryn was employed with the Federal Government as a project manager. She was a devoted mother who loved her children deeply and was immensely proud of them. Kathryn found great joy in gardening and caring for her flowers, enjoyed playing crib with friends in Black River, and had a true passion for cooking. Michel and Kathryn loved to travel making their way to Europe three separate times, they also loved their experience on the Rocky Mountain Railroad traveling from Vancouver to Calgary.
Kathryn will be deeply missed by her loving partner, Michel LaDouceur; her son, Perry Mason Perdue; her brothers, Edward Walker and Jamie Walker; and her sister, Lynn Bouchard. She will also be fondly remembered by the many friends she made throughout her life.
Kathryn was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Holly Langille.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 4-7 pm, with a funeral service held at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church (646 Westmorland Road) on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestream through smsbchurch.
