Justin Walter Bridges

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Walter Bridges at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 11, 2021.  Born in McNeil’s Mills, PEI, Justin was a son of the late Henry and Agatha (Malone) Bridges.  His real passion in life was his family and friends.  He worked for over 40 years doing what he loved, working on cars and doing renovations.  He enjoyed his daily routine of going to Tim Hortons and arguing.  Justin will be dearly missed by his daughters:  Charlene “Candy” Bridges and Genevieve “Jenny” Nicolle (Stanley); his grandchildren:  Melissa, Tiffany, and Jeremy; his 7 great-grandchildren; his siblings:  Iva Everett of Ontario, Bernetta Reeves of PEI, Doreen Dupere of Saint John, Trudy Matheson of PEI, Kenny Bridges (Lucia) of PEI, Ricky Bridges (Gwendy) of Saint John, Albert Bridges (Sondra) of PEI, Leo Bridges (Nanci) of Ontario, Joyce Dean (Allie) of Saint John, Leonard Bridges (Darlene) of PEI, and Genevieve Wilson (John) of Ontario;  good friends:  Brian Quigg, Robert “Junior” Winchester; the son he never had:  Henry Walker; and his God-daughter Ruth Bridges;  as well as by many extended family members and friends.  As well as his parents, Justin was predeceased by his siblings:  Harold Bridges, Diane Brown, and 2 brothers in infancy.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John. Visitation will be held on Monday June 14, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Fundy Chapel.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, all wishing to attend the funeral service on Tuesday are asked to call the funeral home directly to RSVP (506)-646-2424 .  Donations to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or the Joshua Group would be appreciated.
