June Mildred Milley

It is with broken hearts the family of June Mildred Milley announce her passing on Saturday, March 14th, 2026.  She is the beloved wife and best friend of Terry Milley.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her children Jarryd Milley (Sarah Bridges),  Madison Milley as well grandchildren Zander and Tory. Her loss will be felt by family members and the many friends she has met along the way.  She is predeceased by her parents Mildred and James Clements, her sister Evelyn and niece Jeannine.  June loved animals and will be missed by her furbabies Callie, Oliver, Buddy and Kirby.

June worked many years as a hair dresser as well as a hair dressing instructor.  Doing hair was her passion.  She worked the last 9 years of her working life as a ticketing agent for Air Canada, a job she loved very much, she loved dealing with people as well as her co workers.

June was a strong advocate for women's rights and was a past chair for UNIFOR's Women's  committee for Atlantic Canada.  Over her time there she spoke passionately for and about the struggles of battered women and human trafficking.  She will be remembered for her strength and determination.

She loved to knit, especially Christmas presents and items for new babies.  June also loved to travel. She had great times on her trips to Cuba, Toronto and the many road trips to visit family in her beloved Cape Breton.  A highlight was her trip to Vancouver and the many new friends she met there.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 19th, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will take place in the Fundy Chapel on Friday at 2:00 PM.  For those that wish, memorial donations to the Ca-r-ma Cat Rescue would be greatly appreciated by the family.
