June Fleming Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of June Margaret (Platt) Fleming, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. Born on June 9th, 1934, in Stockport Chessire, England, she is the daughter of the late Eric and Margaret (Goulden) Platt. June enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching Coronation Street.
June is survived by her daughters Debra Reynolds of Virginia Beach, VA, Christine “Cris” Spurlock of Norfolk, VA; son Ian Fleming of British Columbia; brother Ross Platt (Frances) of Pembs, Wales; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, June was predeceased by her husband David.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). As per June’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Her ashes will be scattered by family at a later date. Donations in memory of June may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
