Judith Ann Montford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Montford (Northorp) of Saint John, New Brunswick.  Judy passed away at the age of 81 on July 1st of 2025 at Carlton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home.  As a lifetime resident of Saint John, Judy was the beloved wife of William Robert (Bob) Montford for 60 years and mother of two – Christina Lynn Lewis (Montford) and Christopher Robert (Rob) Montford.  She is also survived by her three sisters, Donna McCormick, Carol Brien and Pam Cunningham.   She will also be forever loved by her four grandchildren (Sarah, Jacob, Sam, and Cameron) and three great grandchildren (Randi-Lynn, Penelope and Ruby) and remembered by the hundreds of students that she taught at Saint Patrick’s School on the west side of Saint John.  Judy was a kind and loving soul and will be forever missed. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  A celebration of life will be held for Judy later this summer at a date and location to be announced shortly.  At that time and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memory Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Saint John.
