Joseph "Joe" Arsenault

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joe Arsenault who passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on Sunday July 8th, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Saint John to the late Edgar and Alexina (Guimond) Arsenault.

Joe had several jobs in Saint John until his retirement at which time he became a fulltime caregiver to his wife. He could also be seen with his good friends at McAllister Mall where they met each morning for coffee and a walk.

He is survived by his daughter Lori (Arden) Koval, son Mark (Jamie) Arsenault, grandchildren; Matthew Koval, Jacqueline, Danielle, Billie Arsenault, and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Roger Arsenault, sisters; Hilda Arsenault, Doris (Dave) Baardsen, Rose (Mark) Barry, Aunts; Laurette Guimond and Annie Guimond, sister in-laws, Dianne Arsenault, Kay Arsenault, Cathie (Victor) Wells as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with his parents, Joe was predeceased by his wife Diana Arsenault,  brothers Joseph Balfour, Raymond and Rheal Arsenault, sister in-law Susan Farris-Arsenault.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten!

Arrangements entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Joe’s life which will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday July 11th at 11:00 a.m., 2018 with Father Ken Weir officiating. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
