Joseph "Jim" Jacques Chaisson

With sadness the family of Joseph “Jim” Jacques Chaisson announces his passing which occurred on January 2, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB, on January 22, 1942, he was the son of the late Ovila and Edith Chaisson.

Jim lived a simple life and found joy in every moment. He was a man of great kindness and had a good heart.

He will be remembered by his partner Barbara Martin.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, sisters Melvina, Cathy, Yvonne, and Mary, and brothers Jerry and Henry.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
