Joseph Arthur Mazerolle Obituary

Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, on May 16, 1937 died on April 1, 2024 at 86 years of age at the Loch Lomond Villa (Birch House). He was the son of Leon and Olive (Gautreau) Mazerolle.

Emile, a family man of great faith, kindness, loyalty. Loved to work with his hands. A man that would do anything for everyone. Emile worked as a millwright at Irving Paper until his retirement in 1994. The garage became his workplace, building everything his wife and children wanted him to. His legacy will live on in his family and the generations to come.

Loving Husband of 24 years to Sharon (Steele) Mazerolle, together they blended a huge family, that they both adored. And to the very end, he only had eyes for Sharon, he would always say, she was his best girl. Even when the days of his remembering became harder and harder, his eyes would light up when Sharon entered the room.

Dad was a wonderful father to Michelle Gionet, Carol (Bill) Tobin, Gladys (Bobby) Crossman, Ted (Sandy) Mazerolle, Sandra (Roger) Golding, Melissa West, Bobby Mazerolle. Daughter-in-law Mona Mazerolle. Was a loving Papa to Kelly, Tara, Nick, Natalie, Jeremy, Joe, Travis, Cassie, Daniel, Danielle, Christopher, Ashley, Maggie, Bailey, Katie.  A great Grand Papa to Terrance, James, Jayden, Kaylie, Caelyn, Raiden, Kennedi, Ben, Hunter, Alex, Jayla, Spencer, Mackenzie, Jackson, Norah, and not to forget the Great Grand Doggers, Tennessee, Ella, Birdie, and Bow. Brother to Antonia “Toni” MacDonnell (late Dr. John), Marie-Claire Mazerolle, Marielle LeBlanc (late Roméo), Yvon (Léoline) Mazerolle. Brother-in-law to Carmel Mazerolle, David Steele and Donna (Bob) Greer. As well as several Nieces and Nephews.

As well as his parents, Emile was predeceased by his first wife Winnie in 1994, His son Jamie, and Grandsons Justin Mazerolle and Rob Crossman Brothers Rodrique and Alcide, sisters Leontine, Gracia.
