Joseph Deryck Toner

It is with great sadness the family of Joseph Deryck Toner announce his passing on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at age 68. He is reunited with his beloved wife and best friend the late Jackie Toner (nee Snow). He was the son of the late Phyllis and Alfred Toner. Joe was a father of Rebecca Joncas (Anthony Benson), and Joey (Jurnee) Joncas, and step-father to D.J. Pineau, (Tony Warkentin), Sally Pineau (Caren Jameson), Lee Pineau and Allen Snow. Joe is survived by his grandchildren and his sisters Starr Toner and Elizabeth (Alyre) Michaud as well as by many other family members and friends. Besides his parents Joe was predeceased by his brother Noel Toner. He will be lovingly remembered for his passion for music along with his performances at the Warehouse and the Hampton Seniors Resource Centre. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 20th, 2026 from 12-2 PM A Funeral Service will follow on Friday in the Chapel at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dwight Cole Officiating.
