Joseph Bernard Lynch

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Joseph "Joe" Lynch on July 22, 2025, at the age of 50. 

Born in Newcastle, New Brunswick, Joe was the son of Frank Lynch and the late Elaine Lynch (née McCarthy).  

He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Beth Kemp; his sister, Tracy; and his brother, Michael Lynch (Laura). 

Also mourning his loss are his stepchildren: Jacqueline Cronk (Chris), Allie Murchison-Maguire (Shania), and Luke Murchison; his cherished grandchildren: Tryn, Ahri, Eleanor, and Hazen; his niece, Brooke; his nephews: Keagan, Will, and Rory; and his sister-in-law, Joanne Neil, and brother-in-law, Chris Neil.  

Joe spent much of his career at sea, including working as a dedicated marine engineer for the Canadian Coast Guard. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). 

As per Joe’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.  For those who wish, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
