Johnathon Childs Bond

It is with heartbreak and sadness the family of John Bond announce his unexpected passing which occurred in Saint John on Thursday March 11th, 2021. Born in Saint John on August 26, 1993 he is the loving son of John F. and Bernise (Godin) Bond. John was a lovable, kind hearted young man who was taken far too soon. He worked alongside his father and was a talented cook for many years .A graduate of Woodlawn High School Class of 2012, he was active in Martial Arts, Volley Ball and Running. Devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and best friend. Those who knew John will miss him forever. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, walking, and PlayStation, Pokémon and board games. John always had a smile on his face, he would give the shirt of his back to help anyone who needed it. John was always looking out for others and was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

He is survived by his parents John & Bernice Bond of Saint John; sisters Alisha McManus (Michael) of Alberta and Samantha Bond (Dave) of Saint John; nephews Ivan & Yves; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Geraldine & Alfred Godin and Chesley and Alfreda Bond.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Sunday March 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Monday March 15th from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Due to the current pandemic seating will be limited.
