John Joseph Baxter Obituary

 It is with sadness the family of John Baxter announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital Monday July 12, 2021. Born in Saint John February 4 of 1935, he was the son of the late Harry and Sophia (Moore) Baxter. John was a talented Electrician and worked for several companies in his career, eventually owning and operating his own “John Baxter Electric” retiring in 2016. He was an Elder of Jehovah Witness Church Loch Lomond for over 60 years and was well liked and respected by his peers and business associates. John was a kind man who thought of others first. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

John is survived by his three children John Jr., Deborah, and Stephen; 2 grandchildren; sister Louise MacCollum (Ronald) of Saint John; brother Winston Baxter (Hannah Laura) of Prince George, BC; cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with his parents, John was predeceased by several siblings.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) A memorial service will be held at a later date.
