It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Henry Walker announces his peaceful passing at Kings Way Care Centre on August 7, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Lower Millstream, NB on June 3, 1931 to the late Austin and Annie (Corbitt) Walker and was the loving spouse of 65 years to his late wife, Vivian Mae (Wells) Walker.
John was a carpenter by trade and in his earlier years, taught carpentry at NB Community College. He was a master craftsman who was known for his carpentry skills and fine furniture making. He was a long-time faithful member of True Life Church (formerly Rothesay Baptist) and even oversaw the construction of the original church.
He will be greatly missed by his son Peter (Penny) of Riverview, NB; daughters Bonnie (Tom) Bustin and Heather (Brian) Tupper both of Rothesay; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Inez McMann of Sussex and many friends.
In addition to his parents, and wife, he was predeceased by his sisters Jean Roberts, Hope Brown and June Cameron.
Special thanks to Kings Way Care Centre staff who became a special part of John's family in his last 3 years.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Visitation will be held from True Life Church (30 Vincent Road, Quispamsis) on Monday August 10, 2020 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held from True Life Church on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery in Norton. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kings Way Care Centre, True Life Church or the charity of one’s choice.
