John 'Paul' Stevens

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John "Paul” Stevens which occurred on Monday May 2nd, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, December 7, 1953, he was the son of the late John F. and Mary Ellen Stevens.

Paul worked his career with Canada Post. He was an avid collector and enjoyed flea markets and going to yard sales looking for new treasures. His favourite season was summer, and he enjoyed playing golf with his friends in the sunshine.

Paul was known by many for his big heart and caring nature. He was a good listener and enjoyed helping others. He was a wonderful friend and always had a positive outlook on life and will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by Ashley Clark (Rob) and their children, Maria, Grace, and Timothy, who consider Paul their second father and grandfather, his dearest friend, Margaret Devine, his best friend and flea market companion, Gordon Taylor, and Bev Baxter, Cathy and Yvon Basque, and Colleen Hatfield and the Boyce Family at Rhoda's Flea Market.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home. There will be no visitations. A graveside service will be held at 9:30am on May 28, 2022 at Fernhill Cemetery (South Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
