John David Rogers

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of John David Rogers which occurred on September 16, 2022, at Rocmaura Nursing Home with his daughter by his side. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 7, 1952, he was the son of the late John and Constance (Logan) Rogers.

David had a passion for collecting Antiques, so passionate that he opened his own Antique shop. David enjoyed spending time with friends, he knew all the special spots when it came to digging for antique bottles. He was the jack of all trades, working various positions throughout his life. David was very generous; he was always giving to those in need. He loved listening to music and showing off his great dance moves. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children Karrie-Beth Rogers, David Rogers, Robert Mortimer (Amy), John Rogers (Diana), brother Terry Rogers (Della) along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all members of the extended Lanteigne Family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Patricia Lanteigne, sisters Linda Sharkey, Deborah Rogers, and granddaughter Kayla Anderson.

David married Patsy, on July 21, 1984, and will now be laid to rest for eternity with the love of his life.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Rocmaura Nursing Home, especially Terrace Court, for their kindness and compassion shown to David.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, between the hours of 12:00 – 1:30p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Fundy Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
