John Robert Wayne Jones
With heavy hearts, the family of John Robert Wayne Jones announces his unexpected passing on June 13, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Scarborough, Ontario, on March 17, 1973, John was the beloved son of Charlie and Judith (Gray) Jones.
John will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 22 years, Deborah (Toal) Jones; his sons, Chad Craft and Chris Jones (Lynzee); his chosen son, Bajek Debassige; and his cherished granddaughter, Ella Morrison. He also leaves behind his brother, Gerald Jones; his sisters, Charlene LeFebvre (Dave) and Lori Kirkpatrick (Troy); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A proud member of the Carpenters' Union, John dedicated many years to his trade and took great pride in his work. An avid outdoorsman, he found his greatest enjoyment hunting, fishing, and spending time at his hunting camp. Known for his outgoing personality, John never met a stranger and could always be counted on to share his honest opinion. He enjoyed gathering with his "Timmie's crew" and was a lifelong, devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Throughout his life, John formed countless friendships, but several remained especially close to his heart, including Jason Brewster, PJ Ryan, Jay Fraud, and Phillip Arsenault. Many memorable hours were spent together at the shop under the Old English Motorcycle sign, sharing stories, laughter, and friendship.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the care and compassion shown to John and to them during this difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).
