John William 'Bill" McDonald

A graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Monday, May 8th, 2023 at 2:00 PM. 

If you wish to attend, please join the family at Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Road) by 1:15 PM where a procession will depart towards the cemetery at 1:30 PM. 

It is with great sadness that the family of John William 'Bill” McDonald announce his passing which occurred on August 3, 2022, at Bobby's Hospice. He was born May 8, 1960, to the late Jack and Dixie (McRae)  McDonald.

He is survived by his beloved children; Damion McDonald, Ryan Kiervin (Julia), Emily Morgan (Tanner), and Blake Kiervin, grandson Wesley Morgan, special friend Linda Kiervin, his brothers; Russell, Edward (Sue) and Derrick, sisters; Cindy Jacques and Jacqueline Bettle (Bill).

Bill was a mechanic and his passion was working on cars.  He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Following cremation, visitation will take place on Monday from 12 noon until the funeral service at 2:00pm from the Fundy Chapel.  Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.  There will be a reception at Silver Falls United Church Hall, following interment. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
