John Good

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Angus “John” A. Good, which occurred at Kings Way Care Center on August 7th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  Born 1943, in New Mills, NB, he is the son of the late Adrian and Margaret (McGregor) Good.  In his earlier years, John worked at Wonder Bread. He later worked at the Sugar Refinery for several years before retiring in 2000.  John was the last chartered member of the Lion’s Club and he enjoyed raising border collies. 

John is survived by his loving and devoted wife Beverley (Glenn) of 58 years; daughters Kimberley Good-Quinn (J-P) of Saint John, Brenda Good of Hampton, Darlene Good of Saint John, Joselyn Lawrence (Troy) of Hampton; Henrietta McGrath (Peter) of Saint John, Shelley Ouellette (Paul) of Norton; sisters-in-law Sindy Good of Quispamsis, Beverly Good of Oromocto; grandchildren Morgan (James), John, Mason, Vanessa, Jamie and Jenna; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his brothers Cleave, Jim and Malvin and half brothers Ralph and Keith. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, August 10th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, August 11th at 2 p.m.  The burial will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery (61 Cemetary Road) on Friday, August 12th at 11 a.m.  Donations in memory of John may be made to The Lions Club or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
