Joanne Marie Kruky

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joanne Marie Kruky which occurred on October 21st at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born August 17th 1966, in Saint John NB, she is the daughter of Anthony Savoie and Yolande (Frenette). Joanne worked in masonry for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved listening to music, singing, baking, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Joanne had a great sense of humour and was always the life of the party. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her spouse Gary; children, Jordan (Marissa), Jessica (Cory), and Shannon all of Saint John; grandchildren Adrian, Hunter, Gabe, and baby boy on the way; her siblings; Daniel (Lisa), Robert (Lisa), Sharon, and sister-in-law Karen all of Saint John; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her stepfather Sydney Cassie, brothers Ronald and John Savoie, and nephew Chad.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) from where visitation will be held from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6pm – 8pm on Friday, October 28th.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29th in the funeral home chapel. Donations in memory of Joanne may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
