Joan Ingalls

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary Joan Ingalls which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Monday, September 14th, 2020.  Born 1947, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Hanlon) Arseneau.  Joan worked at Sobeys and at Shoppers for many years.  She loved knitting, reading and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. 

Joan is survived by her loving and devoted husband Tom of 43 years; son Edward Ingalls (Kim) of Dartmouth, NS; daughter Vanessa Stuart (Michael) of Saint John; sister Carol Ramsay (Robert) of Moncton, NB; granddaughters Alyssa Stuart, Sara Ingalls, Paige Stuart and Emily Ingalls; her million dollar cat Fluffy; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel at 2 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Joan may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
