Jo Ann Marie Howlett

It is with sad but grateful hearts we announce that Jo Ann Howlett has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026.  Jo Ann is reunited with her beloved husband James Howlett (2020).  Her loss will be deeply felt by her children Kevin Stafford and Joan Woods, by her grandson Austin Woods and by her sisters Diane (Stanley) Diehl and Donna (William) Borden.  She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.  

Jo Ann is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Irene Lowney, by her sister Barbara (Ronald) Scoville and by her brothers Frank, Joe and Graham.  

Jo Ann was a beloved educator at many schools throughout the area including Hazen White St. Francis School and M. Gerald Teed School.  She held her faith close, was very involved in faith community and was a proud member of the RCA at Holy Redeemer Parish.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 15th from 2-6 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Parish, 316 Somerset St, Saint John, NB.  Interment St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery to follow.  For those that wish and to honor the many tireless hours Jo Ann spent supporting Romero House, donations in her member to Romero House would be greatly appreciated by the family.
