Jessica D. Higgins

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jessica Danielle Higgins announces her passing which occurred on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on January 10, 1984 in Perth, NB, she is survived by her partner Tim Davis and her children Milo & Bobbie Higgins and Kami Alice McLean; mother Jackie Higgins; special aunt Marian Higgins; brothers Riley Higgins, Terry & Jamie Melanson; chosen sister Tara Ritchie; Godfather Cecil Cummings; mother-in-law Jackie Davis; Roger and Marian Nesbitt and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too many to name. Jessica was predeceased by William & Alice Higgins, Godmother & special Aunt C. Anne Cummings and her first love Robert Boyd.

Jessica will be fondly remembered for her adventurous spirit, creative artistry and joy of life. Jessica did love to put her face on whenever she went out, sometimes in the car on the way to whatever was happening that day.  Always carrying her cosmetic bag. Jessica had many struggles in her life and never gave up the fight of sobriety. Jessica’s family would like to thank her Full Gospel Assembly family for helping her maintain her Faith through these trying times. A special thank you to the ICU 3B south team.  Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.

Jessica was a giving person, and would help others when she could.  When the opportunity for organ donation was brought to the family’s attention, it was without question an easy decision to make.  Her last act in this world was one of love and generosity, giving 4 separate people the ultimate gift of life.  For that , we will be forever grateful.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Saturday, December 20th from 12 to 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Fundy chapel beginning at 2 p.m.
