Jelnady E. Guilang

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jelnady Estinoco Guilang, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 18th, 2023.  Born July 21st, 1995, in the Philippines, she is the daughter of Joel and Magdalena (Francisco) Guilang.  Jel moved to Canada from the Philippines in 2020.  She studied Medical Laboratory Sciences and she worked for Canadian Plasma Resources.  Jel loved doing TikToks and singing Karaoke.  She enjoyed cooking and baby talk and she’ll be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, Jel is survived by her loving and devoted husband Josh Ngoyi and their infant son Josiah; brothers Earllester Guilang of the Philippines; Andre Diasdasilva of London; sister Lysaabeal Julao of the Philippines; and many friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with a Memorial Service taking place on Monday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. at Full Gospel Assembly Church (34 Mount Pleasant Ave. East).  Donations in memory of Jel may be made to The Pregnancy Resource Center of Saint John, Full Gospel Assembly Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
