It is with broken hearts the family of Jeff Reginald Ermen announce his passing which occurred unexpectedly on May 21, 2022. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick on June 2, 1976, he was the son of Sam and Donna (Boudreau) Ermen.
Jeff lived life to the fullest. He was a kind, loving and generous man. Family was everything. He loved spending time with them, especially with his daughter Addy. His motorcycle gave him joy and he enjoyed going on rides with his friends.
Jeff was a vivid light that made everyone around him brighter. He volunteered with his church, Kennebecasis Baptist Church, Outflow Men’s Shelter, and was a frequent blood and plasma donor. Jeff would do everything in his power to help anyone in need. He was the “yes” man.
He worked with the City of Saint John as a skilled worker with Local 18, where he made many friendships. Jeff also worked with Optimum Ride as a bus driver and travelled to many destinations. He was a referee for the New Brunswick Football Officials Association and refereed Badminton.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sherry Campbell-Ermen; daughter Addy Ermen; brothers Rodney (Karen) Ermen, Ken (Annette) Ermen; nephew Sean Ermen; niece Erika Ermen; mother-in-law Sandra (Weir) Campbell; brother-in-law Carl (Linda) Campbell; sisters-in-law Dale Frye and Wendy Campbell along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Sam and Erma Ermen, Louis and Catherine Boudeau; niece Katherine “Katie” Ermen; father-in-law R.A. Larry Campbell and brother-in-law Dwight Frye.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Fundy Funeral Home between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of his life will be held from the Kennebecasis Baptist Church (383 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, NB E2E-4T8) on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
Donation’s towards Kennebecasis Baptist Church, Outflow Ministries, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
