James "Jimmy" Arthur Worden

With great sadness, the family of James “Jimmy” Arthur Worden announce his passing on March 7, 2026. Jimmy was born in Saint John, NB, and was the son of the late William B. and Dorothea Worden.

He was pre-deceased by his siblings Audrey, Larry, Joan and Billy.

Jimmy is mourned by his son Dan (Lisa), and his daughter, Andrea (Zack). He will be missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  His sisters Dorothy Brinson (Herb) and Shirley Boulter will also remember their brother with great love and affection.

Jimmy was an employee with the City of Saint John for many years until his retirement.

One of Jimmy’s favorite past times was exploring the open road, whether that be on his Honda Gold Wing, or by car with Dan. They enjoyed many father and son adventures during these outings.

The family expresses sincere thanks to the staff of Shannex Embassy Hall for their loving and devoted care shown towards Jimmy. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Scott, Tina, Stephen, Brianne and Miranda Worden, Kevin, Sandra, and Mike for spending Jim’s final hours with us. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, with visitation being held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, between the hours of 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Fernhill Cemetery. The procession will depart Fundy Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would be greatly appreciated by the family.
