It is with profound sadness that the family of James Moore announce his passing on Monday, August 8, 2022 at the SJRH. Jim was born in Saint John N.B. on Oct 26, 1952 and is survived by his wife Barb (Thomas) Moore of 50 years.
Jim is also survived by his sons Tim (Sheryl) and Rob (Cheryl), four granddaughters; Jenna, Gwen, Lauren and Lexi. These girls were the light of his life, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time with them. Jim is also survived by his brother Billy( Kim) and sister Marlene Sullivan(Barry) as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Shirley (McDonald) Moore, brothers Gary, Doug, Gerald and sister Judy Moore deSouza (Jim), and sister in law Mae Hunter (Thomas). Jim was a proud member of Local 213 Plumbers & Pipe fitters and spent most of his working career at the Irving Refinery. He was a member of Council 11201 Knights of Columbus.
As well as riding his ATV, Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching horse racing.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr V.A. Snow Center, as well as all the medical staff who cared for him over the years. A special thank you to the Thomas family for their continued support of both Jim and Barb, and for Jim's friends who kept in touch.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home with visitation taking place Thursday, August 11th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.
