James Noftell Obituary

It is with great love that the family of James Roland Noftell announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday May 29, 2021. Born in Saint John, James was a son of the late Garfield and Annie (Monteith) Noftell. James was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing immensely, and spent as much time outdoors as he could. He took great pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren and family. He is survived by his daughter Della Gallant (Floyd); his grandchildren: Jamie (John), Hayley (Tyson), Benjamin, Alyssa (Austin), Chloe (Garrett), & Brittney; his great-grandchildren: Owen & Lilly; his brother Garfield Noftell; and his sister Patsy Dupres. Along with his parents, James was predeceased by his wife Helen Noftell (Rogers), and his son James R. Noftell. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). As per James’ request, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Donations to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
