LOGAN, JAMES ELVIN passed away peacefully at the SJRH on June 30, 2025. Born in Saint John, he was the youngest son of the late Alvin and Dorothy (Harris) Logan.
Jamie is survived by the love of his life Judy (Williams), married for 59 years on June 11; daughters Sheri Moore (Peter), Bonnie Davis (David), Jean Logan (Chris), and son Jamie Logan (Michelle). He adored his five grandchildren – Marysa Moore (Tyler), James “Jay” White (Chelsea), Brandon Davis (Emily), Jenna Moore (Josh), and Jordan Davis (Miranda). He was also blessed with great granddaughters Jade, Olivia, Sydney, Nevaeh, and Jane, as well as twin girls coming soon.
Besides his parents, Jamie was predeceased by many siblings and multiple family members.
Dad was a hard-working family man. His working years had him at Sears, Lantic Sugar, Pizza Shack, and ending at Dean’s Meats in the City Market. Dad’s passions, in addition to his family, included darts, singing, bingo, music (especially Elvis and Johnny Cash), and dancing up a good jive. He was also a loyal Boston fan to his beloved Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots.
At Dad’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his name to the Alzheimer’s Society, or Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
