Irene Jessie (McRae) Jolie

The family of Irene Jessie (McRae) Jolie are saddened to announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday May 5, 2022.  Born in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Kathryn (Gillieo) McRae.  Irene will be deeply missed by her husband John Jolie; her daughters:  Michele Weichele and Leah Stark of Saint John; her son Christopher Jolie of Donnely, AB; her sisters:  Joan “Joanie” McRae of Glen Falls, NB, and Dorothy “Dottie” Rogers of Forest Hills, NB; her brother Ralph Burrell of Yarmouth, NS; her grandchildren:  John Jolie-Boudreau, Cerea Renne Stark, Michaele Jolie-Boudreau, Kylle Jolie, and Trevor Jolie; as well as by many extended family members and friends.  Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her brothers: James “Jimmy” McRae and Edgar McRae (in infancy); her sisters:  Mary Thorne, Frances “Frannie” Guszewsky, Josephine “Josie” Gordon, Evelyn “Dixie” MacDonald, and Rosemarie “Rosie” Scribner.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm; the funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.   The funeral service may be watched live by clicking on the following link:  https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1652129578183034 Donations to a charity of your personal choice would be appreciated by the family.
