It is with saddened hearts that the family of Irene Jarvis announce her passing on September 18, 2023 at the Loch Lomond Villa – Evergreen House. Born in Weymouth Falls, NS, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Maxine (Smith) Jarvis. She will be deeply missed by her children: Eileen Jarvis (John Soucy) and Laura Jarvis, all of Saint John, and Robert Jarvis of Vermont; her siblings: Rose Jarvis of Dartmouth, Clarence Jarvis Jr. of Sydney, Lorna Jarvis and Ethel Jarvis, both of Dartmouth, Gilford Jarvis of Digby, Arcola Jarvis (Stacey) and Bruce Jarvis, all of Toronto; her grandchildren: Phillip Jarvis (Jennifer), Alexis Harvey and Keynan Harvey, all of Saint John, Jenelle Campbell (Jarvis) of Halifax and Dominique Cave of Vermont; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Jarvis, D’Andre Jarvis and Darius Campbell; her last surviving aunt Barb Brown of Saint John; nieces and nephews: Garnet Jarvis (Donna), Tanya Davis (Floyd), Dion Jarvis (Kate), Tanisha Jarvis Provo, Leeta Jarvis and Katrina Jarvis, all of Nova Scotia. Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her partner Aubrey “Bo” Morton, her brother Phillip Jarvis and her nephew Jason Jarvis. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). In keeping with Irene’s wishes, there will be no services held in Saint John; a graveside funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery in Weymouth Falls, NS on October 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
