Ina J. McLeod

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ina Jane (Walker) McLeod which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021.  Born 1952, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Louise (Lavigne) and the late John Walker.  Ina worked as a System User Analyst for Thornes, now known as Source Atlantic, for many years throughout her career.  She was artistically gifted, an incredible cook and she loved to knit.

Ina is survived by her loving and devoted husband Brian McLeod of 32 years; siblings David Walker (Elaine) of Long Reach, Lynn Kennedy (Tim) of Saint John, Sandra Wilkins of Quispamsis and Peter Walker (Kathy) of Saint John; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her father, Ina was predeceased by her sister Judy Gray.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Ina’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Ina may be made to Romero House or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
