Ilsa Maria Medrano

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our loved one, Ilsa Maria Medrano of Sussex, New Brunswick on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021.  Born in Saint John on November 2nd,1981; daughter of Patricia E. Martin and Hegloy Gardner.  

Ilsa loved her children dearly and will be remembered for her infectious laugh and kind spirit.

She leaves behind son, Rakeem Medrano of Saint John and daughter, Tatianna Medrano of Sussex, NB, along with lifelong partner and father of her children, Brad Harding of B.C.  She is also remembered by sisters, Sherry Ward, Lisa Jackson, Kendra Broad, Jasmine Clements, Jasmin Shears, D Vashti Gardner, Ashley Shears, Sabra King, Lakezha Gardner, and Jahsarah Gardner; along with brothers, Pedro Medrano and Ian Gardner; as well as her Grandmother, Thelma Gardner and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friend, Tammy Goulbourne.

 Ilsa was pre-deceased by Grandparents, Vivian and Alfred Martin, uncle, Wayne Gardner, and aunt, Jennifer Campbell. 

Arrangements will be made by Fundy Funeral Home at 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visiting hours being held on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 from 1-4pm, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 4:30pm.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, seating is limited for the funeral service so we ask that those who want to attend, please call Fundy Funeral Home at 646-2424 to reserve your seat.  Those unable to attend the service are invited to watch it live at the following link:
