It is with heavy hearts the family of Helen Margaret (Stephenson) Clifford announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB on March 10, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Adams) Stephenson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Clifford; daughter Dawn Clifford; daughter-in-law Shelley and sister Barbara Campbell.
Helen was a member of the Saint John Chapter for the CF Foundation and the Treble Clef Singers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed family times at the family homestead of Treadwell Lake.
She is survived by her sons Brent Clifford (Margie) and Ken Clifford (Elaine Richard); cherished grandchildren Annie Gray (Ian), Cassie Makrides (Dmitri), Emily Clifford, Mary Clifford, Cody Vaughan (Natalie Baxter), John Robert Clifford and Beth Clifford; great grandchildren James Gray, Lincoln Clifford, Molly Gray and Alexander “Sandy” Gray. She is also survived by her sisters Sue McLeese (Jim), Phyllis Stephenson and June Garnett (Robert); brother-in-law Don Campbell; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John (646-2424), with visitation on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Due to limited seating, please call 646-2424 to RSVP.
