Hazen Kenneth Urquhart

URQUHART, HAZEN KENNETH

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Hazen Kenneth Urquhart which occurred on Monday, June 26th at the Kingsway Care Centre. Born March 17, 1942, in Lower Kars, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Beecher and Lillian (Abbot) Urquhart.

Hazen worked many years in construction up until his retirement with Classic Construction as a foreman. He was an avid outdoorsman who truly enjoyed hunting moose and travelling with his family and friends.

Hazen is survived by his children, Gloria Dempster, Cindy Frye, Beth Springer, Chris Wilson and Lawrence Wilson. He is also survived by his siblings, Glen Urquhart, and Kathy Hames along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 spouses; Evelyn Smith, Ann Davis and Joyce Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Hazen is predeceased by his siblings; Walter Urquhart, Garfield Urquhart, Viola Nauldret and Celia Urquhart.

In keeping with Hazen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Bayview Cemetery on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
