Pharmaceutical Society and was the representative on the Med Buy Pharmacy Committee for the Saint John Regional Hospital.

He organized and became the Director of the first and only Pharmacy Residency Program in Atlantic Canada outside the City of Halifax, in conjunction with Dalhousie University, College of Pharmacy, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  The Pharmacy Department became part of the Clinical Clerkship Program for fourth year pharmacy students at Dalhousie University.  The Pharmacy Department also became part of the practical training program for Pharmacy Assistants at the N.B. He was a member of the Committee planning the design and development of Systems for the Department of Pharmacy for the new Saint John Regional Hospital Facility and the committee that planned the move to this location.
