It is with joy for a life well-lived that the family of Gordon Saunders announce his peaceful passing in the loving arms of his wife of 30 years on November 22, 2020 at Shannex Embassy Hall. Born in Bloomfield, PEI, Gordon worked for many years at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Shirley Saunders (Trott); his son Gordon Reynolds; his step-children: Bruce MacDonald (Vy), Susan Cyr (Stephen), Andrew MacDonald, and Karen MacDonald; his grandchildren: Amanda and Victoria; his step-grandchildren: Matthew MacDonald (Brittani), Mya MacDonald, Kristan Cyr, and Leif Cyr; step-great-grandson Stark MacDonald; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his parents and his siblings. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John E2J 2G3 (506-646-2424). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services will be held privately. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
