It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Glynn Elmer Gault which occurred at Shannex-Embassy Hall on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at the age of 104. Born 1917, in Musquodoboit Rd., NS, he is the son of the late Albert and Pearl (Josey) Gault. Glynn worked for CNR as an Electrician for 31 years before retiring in 1982. He enjoyed doing electrical and motor work in his shop at home up until the age of 95.
Glynn is survived by his sons Ralph Gault (Tanya) of Oaxaco, Mexico, Charles Gault of Edmonton, AB, Bruce Gault (Paula) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; daughters Sheila Elderkin of Ontario, Linda Gardner (Barry) of Brantford, ON, Barbara Mummery (Peter) of Rothesay, NB; sisters Etta Garnham of Kingston, ON, Irma Power of Moncton, NB; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Glynn was predeceased by his wife Marguerite, daughter Helen Dempsey, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A private family Graveside Service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens (715 Latimore Lake Road) on Thursday, May 19th at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Glynn may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
