Gloria Jean Kelley

With heavy hearts, the family of Gloria Kelley announces her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on June 30th, 2020. Gloria was born in Saint John on August 11, 1946; a daughter of the late Lloyd and Phyllis (Shute) Duncan. She worked for the school board for over 30 years in various roles, and loved working with children. Gloria is survived by her daughter Lorna Carmichael (John), son Bruce Kelley, sisters Phyllis Lawson (Harold), Pat Carson, Rose Diamond (Scott), Debbie Bursich (Hugo), brother Lloyd Duncan, granddaughter Breanne Myles, very special friend Onile Duguay, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Jack Carson. Gloria’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Bayshore Home Health for keeping Gloria as comfortable as possible. Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Due to the current health restrictions, services will be by invitation only for family and friends. For those who wish, remembrances to Children’s Wish, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
