Glen passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the age of 90. Born February 6, 1930 in Stoney Beach, Saskatchewan he was the son of the late Donald and Rebecca Ross of Ailsa Craig, Ontario.
Glen will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Pierrette (Joly) and by his children; Yvette (Stephen) of Ontario, Lynne (Alfred) of Saskatchewan, Cathy of Saint John and Ian (Paula) of Saint John. Glen was called Grandpa by 3 grandchildren; Anthony (Terri), Jocelyn (Shawn) and Ryan (Lyndsay) and two great-grandchildren; Taelynne and Danaka and little Rupert on the way.
Glen was an Electrician by trade and throughout his life-was active in many social groups, Masons, Elks, Boy Scouts, Air, Army and Sea Cadets. He enlisted as a Reservist in the Air Force in the 1950s.
Along with his parents, Glen was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Allan and Norma Ross of Ontario.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Due to current events, a gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Council of the Blind.
