It’s with broken hearts that the family of Gerry "Gerald Earl" Harris announces his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday December 3rd, 2025. Born on December 5, 1974, in Campbelton, NB, he was the son of the late David and Mary Louise (McGrath) Harris.

His earliest job was running a federal neighborhood computer site for teens where a student could be “suspended for swearing”. After working at experience at call centers, Gerry joined "Innovatia", a multi service provider over 15 years ago.
A car enthusiast, Gerry loved automobiles of every kind. Even after voluntarily giving up his driver’s license, he never lost interest and enthusiastically joined his family and friends through countless car shows.
Deeply committed to his community, Gerry founded the “WE ARE PASSENGER” to advocate against the cancellation of bus passes in Saint John; He served as head of the Canadian Council for the blind’s Atlantic Sports and Recreation Weekend; was a founding board member of the NB Coalition of Person with Disabilities; contributed his time to the Saint John Ability Advisory Committee and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
