Georgina Marie LeBlanc

It is with great sadness that the family of Georgina Marie LeBlanc, of Rothesay NB announce her passing in the comfort of her home with her family by her side on April 24th, 2022 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Alyre and Henriette (Pellerin) LeBlanc.

Georgina was born in Bouctouche, NB on June 30th 1934 and moved to Saint John as a young girl where she stayed and started her family. She worked many jobs over the years. To mention a few Irving, Reitmans and Sears. She was a kind, generous, caring person with a heart of gold who always wanted to help others and always put her family first. She had a passion for shopping and loved her trips to Calais and Bangor to shop for new curtains. Georgina loved music and enjoyed going out dancing with her friends and family. She was a big Elvis fan and always looked forward to her outings to the Imperial Theater with her grandson Justin to see the impersonaters. Georgina will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Georgina is survived by her four children, Pam Morton (Bruce), Terry Yoston, Lynn Yoston and Gail Yoston; grandchildren; Chris, Jeff, David and Justin; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brothers Albert, Norman and Donald LeBlanc of NB; sisters Oriza McGrath and Dorina Boucher of Massetusettes; special family friend Sue Chiasson; friends Edna and Bernice; caregivers Meng (Margaret) and Marlene and family companion Brutus (Peanut). Besides her parents, she is predeceased by siblings Norman, Yvon,Hector, Noella, Dora, Lucina and Clara.

We would like to thank Dr. Sarah Caines along with her staff and the Extra-Mural Program for their care and compassion throughout Mom's end of life journey. We will be forever grateful for your guidance and support which made it possible to keep Mom home in our care.

In keeping with Georgina's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Memorial donations can be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, SPCA Animal Rescue or a charity of the donors choice.
