Gabriel "Gabe" Antoine Thébeau

With profound sadness and broken hearts, the family of Gabriel “Gabe” Antoine Thébeau shares the unexpected passing of their beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend on July 8, 2025. Born in Moncton, NB, on October 17, 1996, Gabe brought kindness, warmth, and generosity to all who knew him.

Gabe had a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Always ready to help others, he was the kind of person who lifted those around him with quiet strength and compassion. He deeply cherished his large and loving family and had a special bond with animals—especially his loyal dog, Cash.

A gifted musician, Gabe found joy and expression through the guitar and drums, sharing his talent freely with those he loved.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Julie Daigle (Dave Arsenault); his father Marco Thébeau (Chantal Ferguson); his brother Rémi Thébeau (Kaidyn); step-brothers Gregory Arsenault, Jérémie Boudreau, and Jonathan Boudreau; step-sister Katie Arsenault; his maternal grandparents Janine and Guy Savoie; paternal grandfather Elzéar Thébeau; his uncle and godfather Joseph Thébeau (Renée Desroches; aunt Josiane Thébeau (Roland Richard); uncles Paul Daigle (Lori) and Michael Daigle; and cousins Marc­André Richard and Jules Richard. Gabe will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and many dear friends.

He is now reunited with his paternal grandmother Yvette Thébeau, his maternal grandfather Tom Daigle, and his aunt and godmother, Renée Desroches, who predeceased him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A private interment will take place at a later date. In honour of Gabe’s love for animals, donations to the S.P.C.A. Animal Rescue would be deeply appreciated by his family.

C'est avec une profonde tristesse et le cœur brisé que la famille de Gabriel « Gabe » Antoine Thébeau partage le décès inattendu de leur fils, frère, petit-fils, neveu et ami bien-aimé, survenu le 8 juillet 2025. Né à Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick, le 17 octobre 1996, Gabe apportait gentillesse, chaleur et générosité à tous ceux qui le connaissaient.

Gabe avait un esprit doux et un cœur plein d'amour. Toujours prêt à aider les autres, il était le genre de personne qui soutenait ceux qui l'entouraient avec une force tranquille et compassion. Il chérissait profondément sa grande famille aimante et entretenait un lien particulier avec les animaux, en particulier son fidèle chien, Cash.

Musicien talentueux, Gabe a trouvé la joie et l'expression à travers la guitare et la batterie, partageant librement son talent avec ceux qu'il aimait. Il manquera à jamais à sa mère, Julie Daigle (Dave Arsenault); à son père, Marco Thébeau (Chantal Ferguson); à son frère, Rémi Thébeau (Kaidyn); à ses demi-frères, Gregory Arsenault, Jérémie Boudreau et Jonathan Boudreau; à sa demi-sœur, Katie Arsenault; à ses grands-parents maternels, Janine et Guy Savoie; à son grand­père paternel, Elzéar Thébeau; à son oncle et parrain, Joseph Thébeau (Renée Desroches); à sa tante, Josiane Thébeau (Roland Richard); à ses oncles, Paul Daigle (Lori) et Michael Daigle; et à ses cousins, Marc-André Richard et Jules Richard. Gabe restera également dans le coeur de sa grande famille et de ses nombreux amis chers.

Il a maintenant retrouvé sa grand-mère paternelle, Yvette Thébeau, son grand-père maternel Tom Daigle, et sa tante et marraine, Renée Desroches, qui l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à la Maison funéraire Fundy, 230, chemin Westmorland (506-646-2424). Une inhumation privée aura lieu ultérieurement. En hommage à l'amour de Gabe pour les animaux, des dons à la S.P.C.A. Animal Rescue seraient grandement appréciés par sa famille.
