Frederick Bennett Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frederick R. Bennett announces his unexpected passing that occurred on Monday July 27, 2020 at his residence. Born in Saint John on February 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mary (Lizotte) Bennett. Fred was employed with Irving Pulp and Paper for many years, retiring in 1995.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara (Graham) Bennett; one daughter Francine (Joseph) Ervin; granddaughters Allison (Joe Kinnear) and Jessica; one brother John (Donna) Bennett.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Gordon, David and James.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
