With heavy hearts, the family of Florence Stewart announces her passing, which occurred at her home on March 20th, 2020. Florence was born in Saint John on January 24th, 1937; a daughter of the late David and Olive (Hamilton) McKellar, and the loving wife of the late Peter Stewart. She is survived by her children; Kathy, Tim, Karen (Barry) and Elizabeth (Darrell), step-son George (Lorrie), siblings David (Donna), Joan (Norbert), Kathleen, Ruth, Jean (Kenny), Joyce, Mary (Alban), William (Margaret) and John (Yvonne), grandchildren; John (Jessica), Kim (Leo), Jake (Charlotte), Kayla (Rudra), Nathan (Jessica), Aaron (Kelly), Crystal (Peter), Amy (Kevin), and Mathew (Kayla); great-grandchildren Thatcher, Ivy, Ella, Allison, Willow, Hunter, Hayden, Paige, Parker, Leland, Charlotte, Kayden, Amaya, and Aslan. Along with her parents, Florence was pre-deceased by her sisters Elizabeth and Grace, and a brother, George. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John. There will be no visitation or funeral service; interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
